Taj is everyone's best friend. My farrier loves him, all his buddies at my barn love him, and all my riding buddies love him. I never ever wanted to find him a new home but I'm pregnant, single, and can't afford both. Taj can do light-moderate trail riding with a light rider. He has amazing feet but I usually shoe him in the summer if we'll be riding in rocky conditions. He can still do LD in both AERC and NATRC. For NATRC, you would need to do some work on gates. I haven't bothered training him on these. He has some arthritis in his right front fetlock. It is easily managed by maintaining a reasonable (under 9 MPH) pace. He also doesn't have any front teeth. This only affects grazing (which he's always been terrible at anyway). In addition to grass hay, he needs some Purina Senior, daily. I want to find a really good home for my best boy who has always taken excellent care of me. I'm also open to figuring out a leasing option.
