“Av” is a 4y/o 15.2 ApHC gelding who identifies as a well behaved dog. Av is an in your pocket, meet you at the gate, follow you through the field kind of guy. Even after a long day of work, he is still ready to go the next day. Av was started as a 3y/o, and has primarily been trail ridden since. He has a good solid start, is great on the trail, crosses water, bridges, ditches, etc. As of late, I have started him over fences, which he has excelled at and really enjoys, and is current schooling over 2ft fences. That being said, he is capable of going any direction. Whether that be a trail mount, western/english pleasure horse, low level hunter, ranch horse, or maybe you want to do it all? Av is the guy. While he is still green, and has baby moments, he has a great work ethic, always comes back better than the day before, and is really just a super willing guy who wants to please, and just doesn’t yet know all the answer. That aside, he does have a great handle on him. Side pass, moves front/hind quarters, soft in the bridle, absolutely no buck or rear, stands tied, good for the farrier. Can sit and pull him out and rides off great. As he is still young and a curious guy, he is not for a beginner, but with training and time, absolutely would make an excellent beginner horse.
