Red ❤️ Recently reduced from 20k to 15k. Need to rehome him asap due to change in life circumstances.
17.1 hand, 6 yr old TB Hunter Jumper Gelding. Located in Memphis, TN.
Red isn’t your average TB to the point most people mistake him for a warmblood. I purchased him directly off the track in 2021 and restarted him properly with the help of a trainer. He is currently schooling 2 to 2’6 and has his lead changes. He’s been in a professional hunter jumper program for the past 1 1/2 years. During that time, he’s been a barn favorite and loved by riders of all ages and experience levels, hauled off property to several shows, and even used in beginner lessons as well.
He is extremely patient and kind, a great mover and more of a push/kick ride, and has a smooth uphill floating canter that most would die for, making him so enjoyable to ride. He’s an in your pocket horse with a puppy dog personality and a wonderful brain. Combine that with his size, professional training, and athleticism and you have a unicorn capable of excelling in just about any discipline.
No vices. Currently takes a full set of shoes and does require some maintenance if you plan to continue competing and training toward an upper level.
I don’t want to re-home Red as I know I will never be able to find another like him, but due to a current health condition, I am unable to continue riding for quite some time and believe it would be best for him to find someone who can continue his training. For this reason I am also open to a paid lease agreement.
