Jasper is a fantastic example of the Moriesian breed. He has beautiful balanced, floaty gaits and a sweet personable personality. Jasper was handled regularly as a colt and was halter broke, stood well for the farrier, trailered by himself and backed and yielded off light pressure. Jasper received 90 days of professional training at 3 and did very well for his trainer. I was blessed with the opportunity to ride him during his last 30 days of training during which he was extremely light, gentle and exhibited huge floating gaits. Unfortunately, when we returned home, I found that I did not have the confidence nor the experience to continue with him in his training. Now 4, Jasper has been turned out daily to cavort with his colleague and has had access to all the grass hay he can eat as he just keeps growing larger. I expect that at 15+ currently, Jasper may very well reach 16.0 hands as Friesians are known to grow through their 7th year. I have no doubt that Jasper will be the source of great pride and joy for his new owner.

Jasper's Dam is the palomino Morgan mare, Brownstone Sierra's Muse. She is athletic, kind and gorgeous. She has offspring all over the world, most famously her daughter Trust-T Honey-D in Austria at a high-end Morgan breeding and showing program. She has been shown in Western, Trails, English and Dressage and has performed beautifully.

Jasper's Sire is the incredible STER Friesian Stallion Tsjip fan North Ster (Legend). Legend is very successfully training in dressage with a Gold Medal dressage trainer and rising 16-year-old rider. He naturally holds his head nobly, is incredibly athletic and has a beautifully powerful canter.

*Lighter boned than a Friesian, Moriesians have more of the qualities sought after in a sport horse. They display an up-headed stature, expressive face, compact body and long thick mane and tail. Their slope of shoulder and movement tends to be more Friesian-like which gives them a regal appearance. Their average size of 15.0 to 16.0 makes them comfortable for most riders.
