Mazey is an extremely sweet 15.2 hand certified and registered 17 year old rocky mountain mare, located in McCloud, CA. She is in excellent health, has strong healthy hooves, and a sweet, sensitive temperament. She would do very well with a confident rider who is soft and encouraging as Mazey performs with confidence when she knows she's doing things right.

She excels at trail riding in all kinds of technical terrain; both alone and in groups. She’s been ridden in parades, has been to the ocean, on narrow mountain paths, on bridges and has even been taken swimming! Mazey can walk, trot, gait, and canter and loves to go! She responds very well to vocal cues as well as leg cues. She does best with direct reining, and also knows how to neck rein as well as be steered with leg cues. She is not spooky and will go and do whatever you ask her to do.

Mazey is also decent at jumping, and she very much enjoys it. She has completed a couple of low level cross country classes, and has jumped up to 4ft, has done water features/jumps, ditches, banks etc. She doesn't hesitate at jumps, and is eager so long as the rider has a decent seat.

She loads into trailers with zero hesitation, and does well on long distance trips! She will stand in cross ties, is good when getting washed, stands well for her farrier/trimmer, and is behaved when getting her saddle and bridle on. Mazey is currently being ridden in a little S hackamore and does very well in it.
