AQHA 9 year old, 15.0 Hand sorrel gelding. Colonel is a very gentle and quiet minded gelding. He is user friendly to ride and work with. In the arena he will hold collection and has an easy to sit to jog. Will lope out on cue, stop and back with ease. Moves off of your hand and leg cues well and will side pass to open and close gates. Very solid to ride out anywhere, from busy urban streets to rugged mountain trail. When riding around our neighborhood Colonel is quiet and content with fast passing cars, trucks, bicycles and motorcycles. He is good about the neighborhood dogs that run up at us as well as all the mini farm animals that have pigs, goats, geese, ducks and chickens. He is equally good to ride out on the trails and is settled when riding in any position of a group. He will lead, follow or go out on his own with no fuss. Crosses the river, downed timber and trail bridge. He navigates our steep rocky terrain very well and is sure footed and dependable. Colonel will stand quietly tied, is good to shoe, bathe, tack up mount, load and haul. He has no vices or bad habits and is 100% safe, sane and sound. Sold! Sorry you missed him.
