Greys Dashing Twist aka “Zeus” is a 7 year old Appendix Registered Quarter Horse gelding that stands at 16.2H. This big guy has your typical go with the flow gelding personality. He is very willing to please and tries his hardest to do whatever you ask. Zeus is quite athletic for his size and is capable of various disciplines because of his athleticism. His physical abilities aren’t his only attributes as he is extremely smart and figures out how to navigate hard or stressful situations quite easily. Zeus prefers to be ridden English but will go nicely Western as well. I believe he will excel in most English disciplines. He is very calm and willing under saddle and will happily walk, trot, canter both ways on a fairly loose rein. He is trained to listen to leg and seat pressure as well as direct or neck reins. Zeus can be ridden with or without other horses with no problems. Zeus has excellent ground manners, he stands to be groomed, saddled, and bathed. He loads on and off the trailer like a dream. He is happy to live outside with other horses and is typically lower in hierarchy in the herd, he does well in a stall also. He is a wonderful horse to be around and has a lot of potential as an English horse, but will also make an excellent trail horse as well. Zeus is currently barefoot but arrangements can be made to shoe him before he leaves my facility if you’d prefer. He has also recently been seen by our vet, dentist, and chiropractor so he is all set to go to his new home!
