Salute to you (10 year old) from great blood lines all with Patriotic names from Upper state NY. Salute is Unregistered. She was born black like her parents. Her sire stayed black. Her Dam & Salute look like beautiful Arabians. Salute has been with Tommy (chestnut gelding) since she was 4 months old. She has a lot more potential for driving, riding & a pack horse. She is an easy keeper & could use to lose a bit of weight. She loves to go for walks on trails & leads well. She has given pony rides over the years & was dressed up as a beautiful unicorn for a kids birthday party. She is sweet & a bit shy. Loves her carrots, talked to & brushed. Tommy (about 25) was part of a pulling team. Since retired. He loves children & giving pony rides to little ones. Tommy is a big love bug, calm soul & loves being pampered. When below freezing, he does wear a turnout rug (included) but other than that has been easy to care for. Leads, gives pony rides & trail walks. Both are used to being around goats, chickens, cats & dogs. Tommy even gives the cat a ride. They like to be outside most of the time with shelter in inclement weather. In the cold winter, they are used to being stalled at night. My children enjoyed these sweet minis but are all grown now. These lovebugs are ready for a new home together delighting people & spreading their love & sweetness. They get grain & timothy/orchard hay 2x a day & love their carrots, occasional apple & Wasa crackers & occasional alfalfa & oats. In the winter, they also get a little corn. $2,500 for the bonded pair
