They don’t get much prettier than this… I chose Blue Mist right from the herd in North Dakota, along with another colt and a mare. This one has all the classic look and style of the true Nokota, so I chose him to remain a stud. We’ve bred him and he is a proven sire. He has been pasture bred as well as bred in hand. I broke him when he first got here, but have not ridden him in years, and now I am not breeding either. He has lovely Nokota blood lines and could carry on breeding. He is also a sound and strong animal; he’s never been lame or sick. He’s been kept up to date on all vaccines and veterinary visits, but has never had a sick call. What I want for this horse is a home where he can be of use, either for breeding or perhaps riding, but he’d need work. I would not consider him broke at this point because I’ve done so much less with him—not his fault, I am running a very busy business, but he’d still take a lot of time and dedication. I feel that I am not giving him enough attention, due, not only to my busy schedule but also due to family illness. If he seems like a horse you’d like to project on, please get in touch!
