Dash for Cash is a four year old SSHBEA registered Spotted Saddle Horse. He is called Cash around the barn and is sociable with both other horses in the herd and humans. He truly loves to be with people. Cash has lived around Versatility Horses for the past year, including the 2020 SSHBEA Sport Horse Overall Champion from Starnes Stables and has learned lessons on the ground, in the roundpen and in the fields. Cash is responsive to leg and handcues and he has plenty of feel and eager to please. He knows how to do a slow proper turn around - pivoting either on his hind legs or on the forehand. He can work at liberty or on a line - at whatever gait you would like and then come in to meet you and park out.
His smooth saddle gait is comfortable when trail riding and he will go where you point him. He takes to the woods and water easily and will find the right steps to keep you safe. He can lope on both leads and will settle down in a trail walk or does a nice all day saddle gait. Cash will side pass to anything you want to mount on or from - the mounting block, the side of a gate panel/fence or from the bleachers at the showgrounds. You can ride him bareback or with an English or Western Saddle. This sweet gelding is comfortable with gunfire, white plastic bags, tarps, just about anything you want to expose him to.
Cash is eager to catch YOU in the pasture and backs into his stall willingly. He stands patiently for saddling and bridling without being tied. He is great for grooming and bathing. Cash picks up all four feet easily and stands for or the farrier. He will load in the trailer to go on adventures whether it is for trail riding or to the showgrounds.
