Summer is a 20 year old 13.5 hand Haflinger mare trained to ride and drive. Summer is an absolutely amazing horse. She was very gently ridden most of her life, she does not act her age. I have owned Summer for 12 years and both of my kids learned to ride on her. She was primarily used as a trail horse for the past 12 years. Summer is a very calm horse who tries to really please her rider. She goes off voice command and is a lot of fun to ride. She has a nice easy to sit to trot and a really fun canter. Summer loads, ties, and is great for the vet and farrier. Summer was used as a 4H horse with her previous owner, and was formally trained to drive about 7 years ago. She has not been driven in a while, but I have no doubt with a weekend refresher course that she would jump right back into it. After a lot of thought, I have decided to sell Summer due to my kids aren't riding anymore and I would like to see her go to a great home that will love her and ride her.
