Cinco is an absolutely fun horse to ride! Not only is he a deep chocolate (Red chocolate/silver bay) color with a flaxen mane and tail typical of the ideal Rocky Mountain gaited horse, but he has also gone everywhere and done almost everything! He is very stocky with thick, sound, durable legs/hooves and a perfect height! He is downright cute with a pleasant expression. If you have been looking for that perfect gaited trail horse, look no further. Cinco is the one for you. Horses like Cinco are very rare and hard to find. He is one of the finest horses we have had at our facility. Cinco is very fancy, broke, and is safe, quiet, and gentle. He is the definition of a Gentle Giant. He is a finished trail horse and has a western dressage foundation. He knows how to handle a rope and has no problem pulling items around. He is seasoned, quiet, and polite on long group trail rides. Cinco also does not mind what position you put him in or what kind of other horses may be around him. He has ridden in the mountains/foothills of Missouri/Arizona. Cinco rides through the shady, close trees of Minnesota and the flats to the bluffy cliffs of Wisconsin. He will ride happily alone. He has a nice and obedient stop and great backup. He will carry a flag. He is safe for advanced beginners because he is handy broke and can be ridden with leg pressure. He is sure-footed on the trail and HONEST. Walking through ditches, logs, water, etc., point, ride, and go kind of ride. My favorite thing about him is his gentle and safe nature; “a beer-drinking horse”!! Don’t worry about having difficulty mounting him because he will side-pass over to the mounting block so you can mount him. Cinco would make a great trail competition horse and has been used on an obstacle course. Cinco also currently competes and loves ENDURANCE. He scores VERY WELL in competitive trail rides as well! He has ridden many miles and has seen it all. He is suitable for all riders who know the general basics of riding or anyone who wants a fun, safe, relaxing, stress-free horse to ride. He is good for the farrier and easy to bathe and load in a trailer. He is well trained with side passes, backs, rides with a basic snaffle, a good turnaround, a nice smooth gait, and a comfortable lope when asked. You can also shoot a gun as well as crack a whip. Cinco is easy to catch, clip, bathe, tack up, load, and handle. He has that famous Rocky Mountain 4-beat gait, and he is smooth!!! In addition to gaiting, he has a very nice lope, a quick stop, and neck reins as well. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATVs, over large noisy tarps. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed. He has been ridden in traffic and is very traffic-safe around cars, semi trucks, logs, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do. He also willingly hobbles or packs!
