Rivr is my heart horse, and finding the right home for her is an absolute priority. I’ve owned her with the original intent to develop her as a show jumper, but life has changed since I started college. With my acceptance into the nursing program this spring, I’ll no longer have the time to give her the attention and consistency she deserves. Rivr is a 2013 OTTB (off-the-track Thoroughbred) mare who has incredible potential. She hasn’t been in consistent work over the past couple of years, but I’ve been riding her recently with a trainer, who sees a lot of promise in her. They believe, with some training, she could be a great fit for a dedicated 4H rider. Personally, I think she’d excel in dressage with the right time and effort; she’s an amazing mover with so much talent. Her previous owner did some eventing with her, and she’s shown that she loves to work and please. That said, Rivr can be spirited and needs a confident, patient rider to help her build trust and go back to basics. She thrives with someone who understands her sensitive nature and is committed to her development. I can provide videos for serious inquiries, and I’m happy to share more about her personality and training history. It’s incredibly hard to part with her, but I know she deserves a home where she can continue to grow and shine. Please reach out if you think you might be the right match for her. 3035237170, texting me is the best way to reach me
