Kimber is an 18 year old mare, extra sweet and understandable. She started off in western discipline but I mainly rode English with her. Shes a fast learner and super adaptable. She’s got quite a hop and a bumpy trot but an amazing distance judge (before I knew to count strides she was doing it for me) The highest jump I’ve gotten her was 4 ft. She’s amazing on trails and very confident on her She’s been camping before and used to changing environment, always eagerly leading the way and going through obstacles before the other horses. She’s sensitive to the touch and I rarely have to give her anything more than a gentle squeeze to get her going. I’ve always ridden bit-less and I think she does better without one. I’ve worked a bit with bridle-less riding and she does well with it considering the small amount of time I’ve worked with her on it. She would be good as a trail horse or as a kids step-up horse.
