Calling all chestnut mare lovers!! This is the gal for you, I guarantee it!
Delia is a strikingly gorgeous mare that is well put together- beautiful head and neck, solid and clean legs, sturdy as can be, all while maintaining a feminine look. She has been brought along correctly, patiently, and methodically and has an excellent foundation on the ground and under saddle.
Delia is doing 1st and 2nd level movements, working more towards 2nd. She is incredibly intelligent and once she has her lightbulb moment, it stays in her brain... there is no need to repeat a second time. She is not the type to need any sort of nagging. Truly a mare that picks up the next day wherever you left her the day before. Delia has great cadence and swing, and is responsive to the aids without being hot. Aside from the dressage arena, she is great on the trails (her trail at home has camels and emus, and she quite enjoys her piggy friend at my facility) and also loves to jump. Though she is green to jump, she is brave and will take herself through the chute, making her an excellent H/J or even eventing prospect.
Delia has boss mare energy, and is looking for a fellow boss mare to go through life with! She has a big personality and needs someone who can match that under saddle, and who can keep her interested and entertained with the work at hand- she is not well entertained by living on a 20m circle. Her demeanor on the ground is kind, sweet, affectionate, and lovable. She would be best suited for a confident and competent AA, a pro looking for their next up and coming horse, or a bold and tactful junior/young rider looking for their horse of a lifetime.
