Lucky’s Blue Prize “Blue” is a 2020 model gelding with foundational lines such as Hancock, Driftwood, and Blue Valentine. As you can see below he’s a TOTAL beef cake!!!

Blue is easy on the eyes, stout, sound, easy keeper, and most importantly has a great mind. Never has offered to buck, and has always been willing. He has been worked with from the time I got him as a yearling to present day. However, last year I had to make a decision for Blue to be turned out on acreage due to my health condition that resulted in an organ transplant. When he was brought back in after being turned out he was easy to catch, and picked up right where he left off.

He has been in professional training. Blue has been gathered on, and has been used to doctor cows off of in a small/large pen, also out on 1,000+ acres. Has been roped off of, crosses water, arena work, opens/closes gates, collects, stops, backup, moves off leg pressure picks up leads etc. He has also been used with packs/sawbucks and has no issues leading or following.
Blue loads and unloads quietly, has been hauled in a 2 horse, as well as stock trailers and in a 3 horse slant load LQ. Has been hauled in a trailer full of cows, by himself, and with other horses.
He ties and stands quiet, clips, bathes, loves belly rubs and treats. Is quiet for the farrier on all 4 feet (for trims and shoes). Doesn’t mind loud obnoxious noises, kids, dogs, tarps, rain jackets etc.

Blue is friendly and gets along well with others, or could be your solo companion. He has a great foundation for being young, and ready to go in any direction you are interested to take him.

He is a hunk, and given the opportunity will be a solid rope/ranch/trail/all around horse. If you’re in the market and looking for your next horse. Then look no further!
