We are so excited to offer this STUNNING gelding. If you are looking for that safe, been there, done that, and can handle any level of rider, even the beginner, Maverick is for you! Maverick has seen lots of country from the west to the east coast. Ride him on the ranch, in the arena, or down the trail. He is great out on the trail, carefully placing his feet to take care of his rider in any situation. He is that good broke family type horse that everyone is looking for.
He has lots of experience on trails and is 100% dependable that makes him a perfect trail horse. Crossing creeks, logs, down slippery banks, through the mud, around traffic or other horses, He’s perfectly capable and does all with ease. Calm attitude, and a kind temperament. Maverick is a nice mover, with a comfortable walk, trot, and lope. He has a one hand neck rein, backs up, and you can even ride him bareback & bridleless.
He has no problem riding out alone or with a big group of horses. He gets along well with other horses and is the same horse each time you catch him. He stays gentle and broke with ample amount of time off and has never offered any foolishness. Nothing much fazes him- giant bouncy balls, passing traffic, flappy tarps, trail obstacles, various farm animals, farm machinery & equipment or playing children.
His quiet temperament makes him the perfect partner for just about anyone.
He is uncomplicated to ride on the trails. He is very gentle and calm. Great stall and pasture manners. He is good with farrier and trailers without any problem. Stands to be saddled/mounted & loves baths!
