Herminia is a beautiful, 12 year old, full-blooded Lusitano mare. We personally bred her dam and have owned Herminia her entire life. She is un-registered, but we know her lineage on both sides.

‘Hermy’ as we affectionately call her is not like most Lusitanos… she hates dressage. It’s just not for her! She will absolutely thrive in a home with almost any other job - hacking/trail horse, husband work, western riding, working equitation. Any job that keeps her out of the arena and away from tests/patterns! Has more whoa than go. She has been trained to ride since the age of 5. About a year ago, we decided to give her a long break from working, as our hopes of turning her into a dressage horse had just stressed her out. After a year of being turned out to pasture, she is in wonderful spirits and ready to find a home doing a job she enjoys!

Due to her year long break, we will not be offering test rides on her. However, we would love for you to come out and meet her! You’re welcome to try your tack on her, lunge her, any other groundwork you would like to see.

She gets along with ALL horses. Has an extremely goofy and light-hearted personality. Trailers well, stands for the farrier well. Lunges well, loves to engage in poles and cavaletti. Zero physical issues and no extra maintenance needs.

We are very motivated to find her new forever home. We do have room to negotiate on her asking price with the right home - that’s what is most important to us.
