"Oban" is a stunning, super athletic, talented, comfortable and kind guy. He has competed in Eventing (Starter, BN) Dressage (Intro, Training Level) and Show Jumping (.70 meters). He likes jumping but I feel he's best suited to Dressage, which is what he was bred to do. Currently schooling 1st and some 2nd level moves.
Oban is well-behaved at shows, easy for the farrier, loads well, clips and is easy to work with in his stall or on cross-ties. He can be spooky when encountering new things but gets over it quickly. He has loads of talent for someone who wants to move up the levels and find upper level success. But he's also happy going for walks on a long rein. Most all riding and training has been done by me, Oban's amateur owner or he'd be further along.
Oban can be seen at Dressage at Devonwood in July 2024.
