Perfect husband horse here! Zana was sold to me as “anyone can ride this horse” I haven’t owned her long but so far I’d say that’s true. I’ve had my husband, kids, sister, brother in law, etc on her and she has taken care of them all. But she is not fitting in with my herd.
She has some arthritis in her front left knee. I have current lameness/health exams. She is not on anything for it as it hasn’t affected her yet. But she will not be suited for barrel racing/hardcore sporting. We’ve had her up the mountain and playing in the arena and she’s done great. Previous owners have trailered her all over the states in all types of terrain. She has been rode In traffic, wine rides, etc. lots of “never rode before” people have gone down the trail on this mare to my knowledge. If she was fitting in with my herd I’d keep her.
