Trained by Triple R Stables in Ohio purchased through the Mission Select Event in 2022. Timo spent the past two years taking good care of an adult beginner rider on trail rides before being consigned with us due to owner's life changes. He is the same horse if you ride him every day or let him sit for 6 months. Timo is as gentle as a puppy and very laid back. He trail rides, drives on busy roads, rides a dressage pattern, does obstacle courses, rides through rivers, exposed to cattle, has been roped off, drags logs, carries flags, lines up to the mounting block, you name it, Timo can do it! Responsive to the aids, excellent lateral movement, good transitions, gorgeous trot and canter, easy to ride on a loose rein. Timo would make an excellent dressage horse for a competitive rider but he is quiet enough to be enjoyed by the recreational trail rider or be a confidence builder in a lesson program. He has more whoa than go, but when asked, he is very willing to move forward into his big beautiful trot and powerful canter. He has been handled by children and ridden by all levels of rider. He would make an excellent “husband horse” and he takes very good care of his riders. Up-to-date on vet and farrier, currently barefoot, 100% sound. Stands 16.2h. Baths, ties, trailers, great for farrier, quiet in the barn, happy to be inside or outside, easy keeper. Imported from the Neatherlands, Timo received the Ster predicate at his inspection, which indicates above average conformation and movement.
