Trained by Unbridled Equine in Ohio and purchased through the Mission Select Event in 2022. Zorro spent the past two years giving confidence to an adult beginner rider before being consigned with us due to owner's life changes. Gypsy Vanners are calm, old soul type horses that take exceptional care of their riders. They are smooth and enjoyable to ride with a willingness to do just about anything. They are loving horses and easy to get along with for any level of rider! Zorro is a horse I look forward to riding every day. He trail rides, drives on busy roads, rides a dressage pattern, does obstacle courses, rides through rivers, has been ridden by women and young children, has been roped off, drags logs, carries flags, lines up to the mounting block, sits, bows, lays down, you name it, Zorro can do it! Responsive to the aids, excellent lateral movement, good transitions, smooth trot and canter. Zorro would make an excellent show horse, babysitter, trail partner or lesson horse for confidence building. He has more whoa than go, but is very willing to move forward when asked into his beautiful extended trot or floating canter. Up-to-date on vet and farrier, currently barefoot, 100% sound. Stands 15h. Baths, ties, trailers, great for farrier, quiet in the barn, happy to be inside or outside, easy keeper. ❤︎ It's hard not to fall in love with him, horses like this don't come around often!
