Calathea will be the horse that will take you up the levels of eventing and then go canter down the beach. She’s 3.5 yrs old and has been slowly started and is WTC and going over ground poles and has popped over a few small jumps without batting an eye. 15.3 and filling up and out. Build very uphill. She’s cute as a button and she knows it. Snuggly and loves her scratches, truly a girl’s best friend. Good for farrier, vet, trailering, bathing. Will stand like a perfect angel in the cross ties for hours. Has been around dogs, cattle, kids. I have opened the arena gate on her, gone out on trails alone. Nice overstep at the walk, floaty trot, and easy to sit ground covering canter. Did I mention she has scope? Same horse in different environments! Super thick mane and tail with very long forelock she knows she’s a superstar.
Not mareish, and has been turned out alone and in groups (low on the pecking order).
Currently barefoot.
Riding videos taken while a show was happening on property and she was wonderful with all the commotion. Has been lightly started over fences showing INCREDIBLE scope and a perfect hind end!
