D-Weiss Destiny, Foaled 2007, Liver Chestnut, 14.2 hands by the beautiful Hanoverian Stallion Donar Weiss GGF. She is papered and branded and has a German Passport. This mare was at the breeders until age 10 and was started in dressage and light jumping when we purchased her. Since then she’s had much more experience including cross country, dressage, USPC, and local jumpers. This mare has taught my daughter so much on the ground and in the saddle but my girl is moving up in size. She’s a very sweet mare, loves attention and loves affection. She’s brave, taking my daughter into cross country. She typically jumps everything you throw in front of her, went over the ditch after first looking at it and nicely walks through water. She’s a beautiful mover! She is a sensitive girl however and is best suited for a confident, skilled rider with good leg and seat and a good understanding of hand aids. She’d be great for someone who has a foundation in dressage and is interested in getting into cross country. We do have two beautiful saddles by Devoucoux (dressage and jumping) that we will offer for additional cost as they really fit her like a glove and anyone who’s gone through saddle fitting knows what a pain it is to find the right fit. She’s been trailered all over the place, sometimes needs a good lunge and extra time to settle into new surroundings or a hectic show day. This girl has lots of energy and really enjoys mixing up her work schedule between jumping, gymnastics, cross country, trail riding and flat work. She does flying changes in the field but we haven’t worked on them too much in the saddle and she often lands on the correct lead. She’s barefoot, lives outside and has a stall for hot or cold weather. Stands for the farrier and vet, enjoys grooming and baths although she’s protective of her ears getting wet. We do sedate her for teeth floating. She lives in a mixed herd and is the most dominant horse on the farm often stirring up the rest of the horses into a good run. The bugs love her so she’s typically suited up in a sweet itch blanket for extra bug coverage. She’s also on supplements for digestive care as her sensitivity can get her stomach out of balance.
