Joeys owner purchased him at 9 months old from O Bar Ranch with the dream of bringing him up as his own personal ranch horse.
He was born on open range (as with Bar O Ranches Program) learning to navigate rough terrain and play with the herd and of other foals. This developed Joeys thinking and playful mind as well as his strong immune system, feet and early muscle development.
Joeys owner was very selective while picking him out of the herd that was available. Paying close attention to confirmation, pedigree and natural personality.
Joeys beautiful breeding and thinking mind made him incredibly easy to work with.
-You would never know he is a Stallion- he is an absolute Gentleman!
Joey is outstanding with ground work.
-Understands yielding his hip
-Yielding his shoulder
-Backing up off light feel
-Lunges easily
-Has done two line work/driving
-Navigates obstacles with ease.
-Stands patiently in cross ties,
-loves being bathed, and having his mane braided.
-Stands excellent for the farrier
-Walks through the barn quiet as a mouse around mares.
-Loads easily in the trailer
Has been on overnight field trips to clinics with lots of other horses and people.
Never acts up or gets Loud.
Stands tied at the trailer patiently.
Joey is very balanced in his personality. A pure sweetheart but very respectful of your space.
Joey is ready for more in life! Super willing and eager to learn.
