Contessa is a sweetheart that loves attention and was a phenomenal first time mother last year. She is 5 years old and registered with KHAR. She’s grown up in a balanced herd environment and has had the aunty role multiple times. Even as a first time mom, she wasn’t too overprotective as she tried to figure it all out. She was fair/controlled with the other babies when she was nervous they might be too rough for her colt during first intros. Those are moments that always make me nervous when it’s a first time and I don’t fully know how a horse is going to be in a new situation with those mama hormones flowing. She did great, which gave me great peace of mind. Contessa loves to chase things that I drag or the dog on the fenceline, so hopefully that translates to being cowy. I’d say she’s about 14.1 hand range + but can measure her officially.

Contessa will be going into training as soon as a spot opens up at the trainer's, so her price will be going up as she starts her riding horse journey. Approved home only since I try to match the right horse to the right home.
