Lacey is a well rounded broke mare. We will start with the negative…. She has a bone chip in her right fetlock that will show up positive to flexions. However, she is sound and has been in training for the past year, and has held up just fine. Every so often she feels stiff, but warms up out of it. That’s the bone chip. Other than that, she has been worked consistently and has had no issues. The positive …She has done ranch horse shows, parades, trails and obstacle challenges. She has done some ranch sorting and has been around cattle. She is a very sweet, in your pocket type mare. She has great gaits and is very close to flying changes. She counter canters great, has a nice stop, will side pass and back with ease. Trailers great, good with her feet etc. Lacey would be a great English or Western horse. She had done some western pleasure and hunter under saddle with her prior owner. Most everything you need to see is in her video. Reason for sale…. Her current owner is a new mom and doesn’t have the time to devote to her right now. This is a nice mare who, without the bone chip, would have been for sale for $12k. This is a great opportunity to have a nice horse at a reasonable price. Surgery is an option to fix her problem, but it hasn’t been an issue with her current owner, and she has been ridden 3-5 times a week for the past year. UTD on vaccines, just got new shoes, teeth floated this month, and have current X-rays of her fetlock. Was just put through flexions before advertising. No tire kickers, PM with any questions!
