If you’re looking for a gelding in a mare’s body, Roulette is your gal. I know I’ll regret letting go of such a freaking cool horse and I will not find another like her, I just do not have the time or talent to do her justice and it is time for me to move on from the horse community. Roulette is available at absolutely no fault of her own. She was originally my barrel & breakaway prospect and I think she would excel in just about anything.

Roulette is smart, quick, athletic, cute- the whole package. She has received compliments from vets, farriers, etc on the fantastic head she has on her shoulders. She is good on the ground, mostly good for the farrier (she gets a little wiggly and impatient towards the end, nothing outrageous), stands tied, loads & hauls well, rides out alone or in a group, has never been barn or buddy sour, and has mild heat cycles/isn’t “mare-ish”.

She has a good w/t/l/stop, pivots, side passes, has trotted the barrel pattern, has been ridden bridleless, doesn’t mind traffic, cows, dogs, etc.
No maintenance/injections
No history of injuries

Her only “cons” are that she can be fresh when not consistently worked, I generally lunge her for a few minutes to get her sillies out and she is a perfectly respectable lady. Without lunging, she will occasionally offer a few little crow hops when asked to lope. She also has seasonal allergies (presents as a runny nose and some coughing when loping around) that only began when I brought her to WA from ID. *after removing all alfalfa from her diet, she has been significantly better* I believe it may have something to do with some sort of environmental trigger or dust as well. She is ok in the fall/spring/winter, it just seems to affect her mostly in the summer. She does best on pasture during warm months and is manageable with Zyrtec & fly prevention.
