Shamira is a half-Arabian with a gorgeous dish face; granddaughter of Varian champion Desperado. Her dam was the daughter of TW champion, Merry Go Boy. Shamira loves trail riding, crosses water, goes out alone or with a group. She rides through herds of cows and she's been on a working cattle ranch the last two years. She rides nicely in the arena; good with ground poles or obstacles, bends, stops on a loose rein, light off rider's legs and good with leads. She is not for beginners because she is sensitive to your seat and legs. Her gaits are very smooth! She is an easy keeper, lives with a herd and isn't "marish," gets along with other horses and has plenty of "go," but is not a hot horse. We are looking for an intermediate rider, athletic teen or young adult. She's a great horse, the right match is very important to use. My personal needs have changed to something less forward, otherwise I wouldn't be selling her.
