Coal is an April, 2023 (18 month old), smokey black yearling. He has a rich, chocolate colored coat and a lighter mane and tail. He has a wonderful, gentle temperament; he is very calm and mellow and will be super easy to break and train. He has an outstanding gait with a long stride and should both foxtrot and running walk. Handled since birth; he loves people and attention. He has lots of bone and beautiful muscling along with a gorgeous neck and head. He is stunning and is a wonderful riding prospect.
Coals’s sire, Midas Touch of Gold, consistently sires foals with wonderful, outgoing, people loving temperaments, super calm and gentle, outstanding, quarter horse conformation, and super smooth, rhythmic gaits. Coal’s dam, Onyx, has been one of my main riding horses, that anybody can ride, and she has a wonderful running walk that is very, very smooth, like glass! Lots of pictures and videos available of Coal, his dam, sire, and lots of siblings. Coal is already almost 14.0 hands and will be ready to start next spring. He should mature 15.0-15.1 hands. Don’t pass this colt up!
