First & foremost, I must talk about the disposition of this amazing horse I have had for 10.5 years. He was practically born broke. You cannot train a disposition like this horse has. He melts with human touch and truly should be with someone who NEEDS his disposition. I had a mental health therapist who owned a licensed equine therapy barn that worked with abused women and children, plead to purchase Spirit because he was the best horse they had ever had at their barn involved in therapy sessions ( he was 3 at that time). YES, he has been everywhere with me & I am happy to talk about his Police training, camping, clinics, hundreds of miles in the forest, rides out alone, with a group, etc... but as his owner for nearly his entire life, it is my goal to find him a person who "needs" his disposition more than just a trail horse. I have had horses for 50+ years, and this guy is so special that I am tearing up just writing this. His only downside is how HUGE he is. However, he is as gentle as he is a giant. NEVER any health issues, and my farrier said he has some of the best hoofs he has worked with. Yes, I suppose he could be a kids horse, but I would rather see him go to an adult who needs a trusted friend. You can ride him every day or not ride him for 6 months and it never makes a difference. Put a saddle on and go. Never have to get after him to do something, willing and kind. I am letting all 3 of my horses go this year. This is tough but finding the best home is my goal. I am not some horse trader unloading horses for high-dollar resale! I am a long-time horse lover who treasures and loves my horses and wants to find kind and loving homes.
