Johnny came to us in October of 2023, before that he had 1 owner for 13 years. As very inexperienced 1st time horse owners, we have decided that he isn't the right match for us. Our horse friends advised us to say, "He is too much horse for an inexperienced 15 year old." My daughter has been volunteering at a local barn for 3 years and taken lessons during the summers.

Here are the qualities Johnny has that we thought be good for us:
Rides Nicely
Loads Well
Easy Keeper
Good for Farrier (sometimes fidgety)
Has experience Jumping with previous owner
Middle of herd in pecking order
Grows good coat in winter
Catches Easy
And he's beautiful :)

His former owner loved trail riding with him and would take him to shows. He has had a U.S. Eventing Registration.

My daughter would like to work on English and does not trail ride. We think he needs a more experienced rider.
