Southern Ambiance aka SA was born 4/16/24. He is by the lovely, well known hunter sire Amazing, and is out of a Southern Pride 17h mare (Holsteiner/Hanoverian). SA is truly something special and we are so proud to have produced such an exceptional prospect. This colt is well built, correct, and good moving. He has three beautiful,uphill gaits. He is currently in the middle of a growth spurt and is quite butt high at the moment. We are loving every minute of watching him grow and develop into a fancy young man. SA is a sweet boy who is a sucker for getting his itchy spots scratched. He is smart, inquisitive, and easy to work with. As we do with all our homebreds, he is handled daily, is halter broke, leads, and has a basic understanding of tying (something we are very cautious about with babies, but feel it’s so important!). We expect SA to top out around 16.2h.
SA is definitely bred for the hunter ring and undoubtedly would be a huge success in today’s Hunter Breeding classes. His mama was a fancy Hunter before retiring to be a broodmare…. And his daddy needs no introduction in the Hunter world. SA’s options for future disciplines don’t stop at hunters though…. He could certainly succeed as a jumper or event horse as well! He will shoot for the stars, regardless of the direction you take him in!! SA will be getting inspected in August and will also sell with a lifetime USEF registration. He will be weaned in Sept/Oct and the cost of care through weaning is included. He is available to the best of show homes as we would like to see him produced to the best of his potential!
