Southern Ritz aka “Ritz” was born 4/8/24. She is by Ribaldi (Rosenthal/Totilas), out of Southern Bunny (USEF: 5416755) who is by the Grand Prix holsteiner stallion, Southern Pride, out of a TB mare (who was a successful AO hunter). This fancy filly is everything we hoped for… exceptional conformation, fabulous movement, a natural presence that draws you in, and a brain that you just can’t beat. She is refined and elegant, while still having good bone and substance. She is extremely sweet, intelligent, and just wants to crawl into your pocket. Raising her has been an absolute pleasure!!
She is currently halter broke and leads, and has an idea of what tying is about (we are always extra careful when teaching babies about tying but do believe it’s important!). She has a good “baby” foundation on her so far! Ritz takes everything in stride and is very happy to learn.
We can see Ritz succeeding in countless different disciplines. Her sire’s offspring has taken the Hunter Breeding world by storm with great success and we have no doubt this stunner would do so as well. Her mama jumped up to 1.25m in the ribbons at WEF. Ritz could easily succeed in the hunter or jumper ring…. But she could just as easily go out and be someone’s superstar event horse!! This filly will make dreams come true and we cannot wait to watch her grow up and shine!!

Ritz is available to the best of homes, ideally a show home that will develop her to the fullest of her potential. She will be going to inspection (likely GOV, in August) and will sell with Lifetime USEF registration as well. She will be weaned in Sept/Oct and will be ready to go to her new home at that point…. Care through weaning is included.
