4 year old bay registered AQHA mare
Located in Wittmann, AZ
“Roo” would make an exceptional trail horse, ranch horse, maybe some competitive trail stuff for the right person.
She will not be considered for a performance home.
This mare is lazy and she hates to work. Just to be honest and up front.
She spent two months with a professional cow horse trainer, and agreed that performance was not suited for her.
She is only four. I cannot guarantee that she will not buck or spook with someone. However, in the time she has been in the family since she was a yearling, she has been a very honest horse. She has crow hopped if you get after her, again she puts up a little attitude if you want her to actually work. She can be a little watchy if she hasn’t been used. Not much fazes her though. She was started in mounted shooting, so she’s ok with noises like that, but isn’t a fan of putting in effort to work. She’s had lots of time out on the trail in the forest and desert. She’s been hauled a lot, and is a dream in the trailer. The type that just stands, no pawing or acting up. She loads great, ties great, and is good for trimming- she is barefoot with good feet.
She was started right, and started light. No excessively hard work until being sent to training this April as a 4 year old.
This mare has a strong sentimental spot on my heart and will only go to the right home.
