Vet inspection/Coggins/Extended Video/ and option to come try him out are available. Hello, Everyone. Meet Hank. I’m going to go through a sort of outline on this horse, so I know I’ve talked about everything. Ground manners: I have trained this guy using a mixture of influences from various trainers that I learned from. You’re never too old to learn something new, lol. He is very respectful on the ground. Stands for the farrier with no problems. Always gives you your space unless invited in. He will come to you in the field, and he’s always ready for his head to be scratched. Saddling: He is trained to stand still while he is being saddled. He lowers his head to receive his bridle. Loading/Trailering He loads and unloads with no problem. He has made trips of 4 hours plus with no issues. Riding: Hank is trained to park out on command. Just tap the back of his front leg, and he parks out with ease. He is also trained to pick you up at a mounting block, tree stump, or whatever you can find. Just snap your fingers, and he will side up to you. Hank walks collected, no camel walk. He stays squared up. Hank moves really well off of leg pressure. With just a touch you can side pass, turn him on his hocks move his hind end he will even crab walk! He will neck reign with ease! Just a light touch and he will go in any direction you want. His transition from walking to a slow gait is seamless, and he returns to a walk as well. His top speed is around 12mph. He is buttery smooth at all speeds. Trail Riding: Hank maybe three, but he has more experience than most 10-year-old horses. He will go anywhere you point him. Over logs, through creeks, up Mountains. He Loves riding! He will ride in the front, back, and middle of a pack with no issues. I routinely go to the front of a line of horses, pull off to the side, lay my reigns down, and he will watch every horse go by and not move a muscle until I give the go-ahead. He is used to farm animals and wild animals of all kinds. Kids: My kids love this horse. They can ride him with ease, and they can do anything I can do on this horse. This is a top-of-the-line horse. He will make someone a top-notch riding buddy. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you.
