This older guy is a ton of fun. He still has plenty of go and looks great. Martini has had years of professional training so knows how to do pretty much anything. Goes Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat, Western. We've been working a lot on adding better ground manners. Does all the normal show horse stuff (clips, bathes, loads). Out on trail he's good with another horse but I don't think he'd be good on his own at this point. Barefoot but if he was ridden out a lot he would likely need shoes. Unfortunately I have too many young horses and not enough time to do much with him. He is still too much horse for my beginner daughter. He would be great as an older kids Wahset or 4H horse or an adult rider that wants to go have a fun time. I think he'd be fun to do lower level dressage with as well. He'll never be a gaming horse, I don't think fast is anywhere in his vocabulary unless its at the trot. He is quirky. Will trot alllll day long beautifully. He can be buddy sour but is pretty easy to work out of it. He can get pretty excited still in the show ring sometimes. Will throw in some crow hops or little bucks at the canter every once in a long while when he's excited. Would do best in a barn environment where he can be turned out as well. For the right person, this is an awesome horse. Would also discuss care lease options to the right person! I love this guy so if there isnt a good fit for him he'll stay with me.
