Ellie is a pretty buckskin mare that has been with us for a couple years. She had a bit of a rough start so she’s slow to trust but is always looking for a friend. Her owner has decided she wants to show so found a registered mare and Ellie needs a new home. We’ve taken her out in big pastures, down the road and in the arena. She doesn’t mind road traffic - trucks, tractors and motorcycles - and been in the pond some too. She doesn’t have a true gait but her shuffle makes her an easy ride. Stands great for farrier and vet, loads and trailers well, comfortable in stall or pen. I think with her trust issues an intermediate to advanced rider would be the best fit.
