If you have been searching for the horse of your dreams , one that’s a true all around horse , there’s never a job too big or small for Chex . He is a GORGEOUS 14 year old bay gelding standing 15 hds tall . He has all the eye appeal in the world with a gorgeous long forelock , long mane and tail that drags the ground . He has been used extensively on the ranch for all the chores from loading trucks to tying one down in the pasture . He always rides out low headed on a loose rein . We have used him to halter break and work colts on , plus pony other horses on . Chex is also a finished rope horse , head , heel and breakaway . You can run 1 or 100 he stays the same never gets hot . He has been rode at the World Series ropings . He leaves the box flat , scores like a rock , runs to the hip every time . He is perfect for any level roper whether your a beginner just learning the ropes or a seasoned pro . If you’re just looking for a trail horse to hit the trails with Chex also very much enjoys that also . He has seen the sights and been hauled all over nothing will rattle him . He is sure footed on even the toughest trails and always takes care of his rider. He will go down the trail all day long on a loose rein and never lift his head above the saddle horn , he will cross logs , bridges , water , tarps , rides out down the busy hwy with semi trucks , and cars flying by with no issues at all . He is used to barking dogs and kids playing all around him . Chex was a TOTAL hit at the Fort Worth Stockyards as he cruised down the famous bricks of Exchange Ave with no bridle on !! He always stays calm , cool and collected! Chex is great to ride in the arena and is very user friendly. He will walk , trot and lope perfect circles . He has great transitions, neck reins , moves off of your leg , picks up the correct leads with no issues at all . We have owned Chex for the last year and can tell you absolutely everything about him . He is one you can leave in the pasture catch up and go for a ride . He is absolutely the sweetest gelding around , he is currently pastured with 3 other geldings , easy to catch and always the first one to meet you at the gate. He has been a great horse to have around and I know his new family will enjoy him as much as we have .
