Born the morning of Easter Sunday March 23, 2008. Easter is a buckskin-grey purebred Andalusian mare registered with the International Andalusian Lusitano Horse Association (IALHA). She was born a dark sooty buckskin and now currently is a flea bitten (buckskin specks) grey. Easter is heterozygous for the grey gene so she has the ability to produce a non-grey foal (to date she has produced to bay filly foals). She is easy to get into foal and has had no issues foaling out on her. Easter has the animated trot and agility that Andalusians are known to possess. She has been used as a broodmare and has not been started under saddle. She is sound, healthy, and has a good temperament towards people, so if a new owner wanted to turn her into a saddle horse I believe she would be a good saddle horse prospect. Or continue using her to produce nice foals. She puts a pretty head on her babies with animated Andalusian movement and agility. I have retained for breeding two of her non-grey fillies that can be viewed to see the quality of foals Easter can produce. In the past I have owned, ridden, and produced offspring form Easter's dam and granddam. I only check my email once a week so for a quicker response send a text with your questions and email contact.
