Beautiful, shiny, bay (some roan) 6 y/o gelding for sale. He is in search of an intermediate rider that is not heavy handed but isn’t a pushover either. He deserves love, patience, and leadership. He has great potential but I just don’t have the time to ride him. He loads excellent, stands for farrier, gaits well, and a quick learner. Vices (I feel it’s important to be honest and they all have them ) food protective, pins ears back when annoyed (especially by other horses), and can get a bit stubborn in the saddle.

He has never tried to hurt me but needs leadership at times. He has ridden in Yellowstone, the Tetons, plenty of organized rides, and trails all over Missouri and Colorado.

His gait is smooth. He is safe on roads, doesn’t spook at cars. He walks a good speed and likes to be first or last. Easy keeper. He has recent health certificate, up to date on shots, and neg coggins. Teeth floated 2 years ago.
