RA Skip The High aka “Henna” - 2012 16.1hh Sorrel AQHA Mare
Henna is a big and beautiful 12 year old mare looking for her next partner. Her gorgeous conformation consistently places her at the top of halter classes and she is a rockstar at showmanship. She is an extremely easy keeper, requires no maintenance, trailers like a dream, and her ground manners are superb.
Henna is fancy broke with a great walk/trot. She is very responsive to leg/rein cues and trained with a spur stop, but her canter needs some work to be called a finished pleasure horse. We’ve been giving her CEP Gut Check and Ulcergard to help ease her stomach while riding and showing. She has been trail ridden to great success with other horses and is safe for kids and beginner riders (boyfriends even xD). If someone were wanting to show her in western or english, I would recommend having pleasure training experience or a trainer handy.
She has not been seriously shown in the past couple of years due to a busy college life. Thankfully she seems to pick up right where we left off, even with large breaks in riding. Selling because I’m wanting to focus on college for the next couple of years. I love this horse and will be sad to see her go but know she will be loved by someone else! She is barefoot, UTD on all vaccinations, and has a negative coggins. Her tack is also available (winter blanket, fly gear, show blankets, show saddle, training saddle, english gear, grooming tools, etc)(a list will be compiled) along with many pleasure outfits in size S/M.
