Kentucky Speed, aka Bird, has experience in the jumpers and eventing derbies up to 3". He is very keen and willing to please, especially if it involves jumping!
Bird would be a great match for a quiet, dedicated rider in a program who wants to do a little bit of everything. He is a forward but safe ride, and is very responsive in a snaffle for all phases. Brave and incredibly honest at fences. Has auto changes. He has been ridden and shown by a junior for the last two years at 2’6” and below. Bird is comfortable hacking alone or in a group, and is reasonably mannered with dogs, motorcycles, cars, and anything else that may come his way.
Bird is being listed due to his owner wanting to commit full time to vaulting. Currently lives out 24/7 with a pasture mate. Shod all around, UTD on vaccines and teeth, no maintenance, no vices.
