To see videos and photos go to byrnesequine (no space). Insta. This is a gorgeous purebred thoroughbred. He’s pretty close to 18 hands tall and looks like a warm blood really thick filled out and moves beautifully. Flying lead changes, side passes he also knows how to jump and I’ve jumped him over stuff, but he has not been trained for it. I’ve had him since he was a year old. I started him in western so he showed in rail and ranch Trail. Then at three I started doing dressage. He’s gone to a few competitions and done very well. He’s very levelheaded. Loves to move forward and loves to work. He’s also got in your pocket type of attitude super sweet and funny. He’ll follow you around while you’re cleaning the stall, most likely knocking over your wheelbarrow or taking the rake. He is wonderful in the arena. Any confident rider can handle him and maybe even beginner in the arena. on Trail He is fantastic, but you definitely have to be strong because he’s got a lot of go and loves to run so I would say more advance for trail riding, but he does not spook. I have him all over the hills and Burbank California, he’s been to the observatory. I ride him on the streets. Nothing phases him. He does eat a lot. He gets two flakes of alfalfa morning and night three flakes of grass in a slow feeder and then a bucket of wet cubes with rice bran and cool stance. This is what I found to keep him fat. He is ridden six days a week, most of the time and turned out one day to really run and let him do what he wants. I have let him sit for three days, but then he is kind of a handful and wanting to run so if you’re only gonna ride one day a week, he needs to be ponyed or lunged every other day he still is young horse. I have had a 13-year-old ride him, but she was an accomplished rider. I think this horse would excel in cross country, dressage, and jumping. I have jumped him over small jumps and logs on trail. He does them no problem, but he has not been trained for jumping yet. He’s one hell of a horse and going to make one amazing show Horse, for some lucky kid or adult. The only thing I will add is that he has false ringbone on the back foot it is not inside the joint just around the bone. It has not been affecting him at all. We’ve done 12 mile rides uphill and he’s not lame. I have x-rays from him being a two-year-old and recent, but it is not in the joint. It’s just around the outside of the foot. but of course you can have your vet check him out and I can release vet records and you can chat with my vet Dr Wheat. But he is completely sound and no issues. I don’t do any type of maintenance. He does not need anything to stay rideable
