Luna is a 23 year old Bay Rabicano, Straight Egyptian Arabian Mare, who looks a lot like her maternal grandsire, Simeon Shai+ (AHA # 424279). Her father is internationally known, RDO Faserr’s Fury (AHA #484808), descended from Adhem and Mabrouka tail female bloodlines. Her mother, VP Shai Moniet (AHA #509889), is a gorgeous mare who has produced many gorgeous foals. Luna has been shown in 4-H in both Huntseat and Western Pleasure Walk Trot. She loves kids and has been used as a lesson horse in my program in the past. She is an amazing trail horse and will go over fallen trees, through water and sticker bushes. We once came across a bear and she had been trying to warn me before getting to it, but I told her to walk on, so she did. When we got to it, she turned to me as if to ask me what I wanted to do then. We left. But most horses would have dumped me long before that and ran home. I can also clip her out in the field without a halter, rope, etc. She will just stand there for her spa day. She walks, jogs, and trots in both directions under saddle, in long lines, and round penning. She is extensively liberty trained and responds to both verbal and hand cues. She ties, lunges, bathes, clips, trailers, and stands for the farrier. She is sweet and absolutely loves attention! She is wonderful for children, but she needs an intermediate to advanced rider for adults. I am only selling her because I have a family and the economy will not allow me to continue owning horses at this time. My hope is that someone will lease her. If someone buys her, I would want to buy her back in approximately 3-5 years or so for her retirement. Please feel free to text me with any questions. I'm a police officer and work night shift, so texting is very much preferred. Viewing by appointment only.
