We've owned Ellie for 5 years. She is hands down the best horse we've ever owned. She has the sweetest most willing disposition of any horse I've been around. She is calm, well mannered and wants to please. Everyone loves her. She came to us with 2 years of professional reining training. She has a lot of fancy buttons. She was my daughter's horse and she excelled with her for a year. After a year she tore her collateral ligament which has sense healed. We've had xrays done on her twice and both show that she is slightly navicular. She can be sound and then off the next day. She is in a field with other horses and when they mess around, she can tweak it. Bute helps but it's not something we want to keep her on all of the time. We haven't tried equinox but that might also be a way to keep her sound. My daughter is focusing on gaming, so she's been a pasture pet for 4 years. She's wonderful with the other horses and is the bottom of the herd. She would make a great companion horse or a broodmare. She has never been breed but she has amazing bloodlines. If you could get her navicular in check, she could make a great family trail horse, she's wonderful with young kids. She hops in the trailer without any issue, is great in new places, isn't hard on fences, not spooky and has never bite/bucked/reared. Finding a good home for her is a must. I priced her at $2,000 but the money isn't important to us a good home is our biggest priority. We'd want to do a site check and will be picky about who she goes to, we aren't in any rush. Please reach out with any questions.
