This sweet mare is looking for a new home (Sassy) whom I purchased from a kill pen/volume buyer out of Troup, Texas in June of 2021. What I was told about her is she was purchased from a sale in Montana and shipped toOaklahoma, then to Texas. At the sale, she had an 8 month old colt at her side that was snatched up for a lot of money, but nobody bid on the mare. The colt was 3/4 Gypsy Vanner 1/4 fox trotter. This mare is 1/2 Gypsy vanner, 1/2 fox trotter she has a gaited way of moving. She is now 15 years old approximatelyt14.2-14.3 hh. Sassy is reportedly broke to ride and drive. She is up to date on vaccines, is barefoot and has been on an 8 week trimming schedule. She stands well for the farrier, picks up all 4, ties well, I've only ridden her a few times, as she is pastured 40 miles from where I live. She isn't fancy broke but she has a pretty good handle on her. I don't own a cart or harness so she has not been driven in the 3 years I've owned her. I'm rehoming her because I split my time between 2 homes, work long hours as a nurse and am unable to find the time to ride her. I feel that she deserves to be more than just a pretty pasture ornament. Txt me if you are interestead and we can discuss a fair price. She is currently pastured at my sister's in Larkspur/Douglas County near I25 and the Greenland exit. 7018701402 Melissa
