Just like America's favorite dessert, you're in for a treat when you ride this icy gray! Say hello to Blizzard, a stunning 8-year-old dapple gray gelding who is the right blend of looks, experience, and ability. With countless miles AND states under his belt, Blizzard is a trail riding pro. Over the years he has navigated the diverse terrains of Texas, the rolling hills of Kentucky, and the scenic paths of Indiana with confidence and ease. It's always a blast out on the trail with Blizzard - he loves the water and is not afraid to cross it or even swim across deeper parts of it. He steps over logs, and he is sure footed, never failing to secure his rider in rocky or unstable terrain. Earlier this summer he carted a complete beginner down the trail for 3 days with a group. Blizzard has ridden down congested streets with traffic, pedestrians, and semi-trucks cruising on by. Been exposed to cattle, dogs, etc. He enjoys being outside and will go all day long! Blizzard has good feel and responsiveness in the arena. Has a slow jog, picks up both leads and lopes nice circles. His smooth gaits and natural abilities make him suitable for an array of disciplines. Blizzard has spent most of his life with a 12 year old girl on his back going on trail rides & attending local play days & 4H shows. You'll have fun with him under English tack too! We've even taken him over a few jumps & used him at a couple local schooling shows. Whatever he does & wherever he is, he's sure enough a standout and is guaranteed to turn heads. I have never received more compliments ones looks before - everyone loves him & has to ask about him! Blizzard loads, hauls, and stands for the farrier like a pro. He is fond of treats, favors bath time, basks in the pleasure of a good grooming sesh, is easy to fly spray… he treasures spending time with people in any facet he can & is always the first horse to greet me in the mornings! All care for Blizzard has been thorough throughout his life (records are available). A perfect 15 hands, this dreamy gelding is the perfect size for all riders.
