Come and meet Cowboy! (I know this is the first thing everyone asks- but I do NOT have recent video of him- only pictures that are recent! Life with three kids showing horses in 4-H is no joke!)

Cowboy is a 17 year old gelding that will make your heart swoon! He has such a FUN personality, and loves everyone. He is literally our most solid horse in health- and we have never had any issues with him! He has the best, hard, solid feet- and has always been barefoot with us. He is trimmed every 8 weeks. He was dewormed in January, and again just last month. He just got a chiropractor and massage appointment on 8-2-24, too! We had his teeth checked in January to see if he needed them floated when the Vet was out checking other horses, and he was good, and didn’t need work done.

Cowboy can haunch turn, side pass, back beautifully, trailers like a dream, bathes, clips, and loves the trails! We have worked him the past year with mainly flat work and arena work, but he is happiest on the trails. He is a very easy keeper! He is currently just eating grass hay as he is on a diet. Cowboy has been mainly ridden by my 9 year old daughter, and also my 5 year old daughter.

The cons for Cowboy is that he can get a little buddy sour when a pasture friend first leaves, but he will settle down quickly. He is overweight currently, and it is the main reason that we decided to rehome him- he is not getting used enough and he deserves to have a job!
