Zeek is a confident 15.1 hand gelding with comfortable gaits and supple fluid movement. He is always the first to meet you at the gate, he loves to watch what his people are up to. Zeek is sound with a soft mouth and moves off a medium leg. His feet are solid and is barefoot in the summer and wears winter shoes for traction. Trail riding is his preference but he will go English or Western and has dabbled in hunter jumper, barrels, and games in the two years that we have had him. He is direct rein but could easily pick up neck reining as he is extremely intelligent. He stands for the farrier, loads well and hauls great. He is currently on pasture, hay, Sentinel LS grain and a selenium supplement for good measure. His preference is more whoa than go but he is not for beginners as he will test his rider. He may offer a little buck going into the canter, but not every time. If that is something you can work with then Zeek may be a great match for you.
